    The Hazleton Art League's February art exhibition commemorates Black History Month and Dominican Republic Independence Day (February 27). Entitled Beyond Labels, it will be a celebration of the blending of cultures with African and New World roots.

The Hazleton Art League (HAL) has been providing Arts instruction to the Greater Hazleton community for more than 75 years. This includes adult and youth instruction in drawing, painting, photography, stained glass, fused glass, jewelry making, pottery, ceramics, and pysanky art. During this time, the Hazleton Art League has and continues to host and provide exhibition space for artists, musical performances, open studio time, and many other cultural programs.
